Editor-in-Chief's Message
With warm regards and respect to the country's scientific and medical community, especially the researchers and practitioners in the fields of military and paramedical health, I am pleased to present the new issue of the *Journal of Paramedical Sciences and Military Health* to you. This issue is a clear reflection of the journal's mission: integrating the latest knowledge in laboratory sciences, modern technologies, psychology, health management, and medical education to enhance the combat capability and resilience of armed forces personnel.
Looking at the articles in this issue, we see a wide range of research, each addressing a strategic need in the health sector. In the field of laboratory diagnostics, we have two technical and valuable papers that demonstrate our progress toward localizing diagnostic kits. The article "Design and Development of Multiplex PCR for Identification of Leishmania tropica and L. major” is an effective step in controlling endemic diseases in the operational areas of the southeast of the country, while the paper " Development and Preliminary Validation of a Universal One-Step RT-PCR Assay Targeting the 5′-UTR for Pan-Enterovirus Detection” reflects the readiness of laboratory networks to deal with emerging infectious threats in crisis situations. These achievements ensure the country's diagnostic independence in military health.
On the other hand, addressing mental health in high-stress military environments is one of our undeniable priorities. The article investigating the effect of botulinum toxin and Rivastigmine on anxiety and depressive -like behaviors opens a new window toward novel pharmacological treatments under stressful conditions in battlefields and garrisons. Additionally, a valuable review on the "spiritual health of Iranian students" shows that to achieve optimal physical and mental readiness, we cannot overlook the great spiritual capital and resilience rooted in the rich Iranian-Islamic culture.
In the areas of management and infrastructure, the article on " Identifying the Effective Factors on the Establishment of Electronic Human Resource Management (E-HRM) in Imam Reza Hospital " and "An Evaluation of the Content of Basic Science Courses in the Bachelor of Anesthesia Curriculum: Perspectives of Faculty Members at AJA University of Medical Sciences” reflect an institutionalized approach to optimizing administrative processes and education in military medical centers. Undoubtedly, without reforming educational and administrative structures, we cannot fully benefit from modern technologies. Meanwhile, the study by students of Neyshabur University of Medical Sciences on "Telemedicine" serves as an alarm to accelerate the move toward digital health, so that geographical distance no longer becomes an obstacle to providing services to comrades in remote areas.
On my own behalf, I sincerely thank all the authors, reviewers, and esteemed colleagues in the journal's editorial team, whose scientific dedication made the publication of this issue possible. AJA University of Medical Sciences, as the main custodian of this journal, has always considered itself obliged to build a bridge between cutting-edge science and the operational needs of the armed forces. I hope that the articles in this issue will serve as a source of inspiration and a guide for more applied research in the fields of health, treatment, and human resource empowerment.
