Introduction: Counseling and its services are one of the basic needs of humans in obtaining well-being. In addition, individul’s views in this field play a significant role in the optimal use of these facilities. Therefore, this research has been conducted with the aim of identifying the military affairs employees’ views on consulting services.

Materials and Methods: This research was conducted qualitatively with the phenomenological method. The participants were 14 employees working in the military affairs of Bahar city, who were selected in a targeted way. Data ,obtained from semi-structured interviews, were analyzed through thematic analysis method.

Results: The findings led to the identification of eight main themes in the view of military affairs employees towards the counseling services under the following titles: counseling services as an acceptable source of support in conflict situations, counseling services as a way to reduce stress and anxiety, counseling services as a professional assistant in dealing with difficult events, a useful professional in managing affairs, a method for self-awareness, smoothing the path of change, effective in reducing the possibility of mistakes and regrets, effective in choosing and making correct decisions.

 Conclusion: Therefore, counseling services are perceived as a helping profession in various cognitive and behavioral matters.  As a result, strengthening the provision of these services in various job sectors, including military affairs, has a fundamental effect on improving the psychological conditions and gaining the satisfaction of clients.
